Got your PAX ticket in hand and ready to go? If you happen to be a Final Fantasy XIV fan, you may want to stop by the Red Lion Hotel sometime this weekend to meet up with fellow fans and take part in the launch event activities, including ‘developer remarks’ from Naoki Yoshida at scheduled times during the weekend and contests.
Attendees will not only be able to meet with and receive an autograph from Yoshida, but they will be able to challenge Titan during the event and win an “I BEAT TITAN!” t-shirt for their troubles.
Today’s festivities begin at 3:30PM and last until 9:00 PM, with Yoshida speaking at 4PM. Attendees will be able to join in Saturday an Sunday from 11:30AM to 9:00PM, with Yoshida making an appearance at 12PM.

A launch event sounds like just the thing for the lucky few who get to go to PAX Prime to take their minds off Final Fantasy XIV‘s recent server woes. Speaking of which, Naoki Yoshida posted on the official Japanese forums yesterday to clarify what is causing the problems, as well as what Square Enix are doing to alleviate them.
