Atlas Fallen, the action RPG from Focus Entertainment and Deck13 Interactive, is set to release May 16. Originally announced in August at Gamescom Opening Night Live 2022 with a reveal trailer, the game was slated for a Q1 2023 release. After a brief delay pushing Atlas Fallen’s release to Q2, a concrete date has been set. Look out for the game on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The reveal trailer from August starts with a bit of history but not enough to flesh out the full story. The rest of the trailer shows off the high action combat with two fighters facing off against multiple creatures swimming in the sand.
The weapons used change forms, from sword, to hammer, to whip, and more, all during active combat. This will allow you to alter your playstyle against each foe in the moment. Set against a detailed sand dune environment, the desolation of the world speaks volumes.
Featuring a solo or co-op story mode, you will be pitted against a corrupt god and raging creatures. Armed with shapeshifting weapons and sand infused powers, fight your way through the semi open world. Take the essence of those you defeat to fuel new abilities as you search crumbling ruins to discover the past.
