The biggest news is their most evolved forms (Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise) can be Mega evolved. Their names don’t change but their physical appearance will (as pictured above). The evolved forms will have advanced special attacks and abilities specific to each character.

If you’re interested in seeing more their Mega Evolved forms, seeing them in action or want to know what a “Mega Evolved means” (I’ll be honest, I had to look it up) go here and check out all the goodness in GIF form.

What do you think about this? Are you guys OK with them evolving arguably the most recognizable Pokémon of all time (short of Pikachu)? Let’s debate down in the comments!
