Amazon is running a promotion where you can trade in $30 worth of qualified gaming items in exchange for a PlayStation DualShock 4 Controller—at least this is what their promotion suggests.
At first glance, one might assume you trade in $30 worth of gaming items and you will receive a free PlayStation Dualshock 4 Controller; however, what the promotional really says is that the $30 worth of gaming items you trade in will be added towards your purchase of the $60 controller. This means you are technically still paying for the $60 worth Controller, but differently (half of it through the promotion and the other half through cash.)
What qualifies as a tradable “gaming item?”

- Accessories
- Game consoles

If your item is qualified, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from Amazon. In addition, to be accepted, your item must be in working condition.
