Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope’s Second DLC Surprise Released by Ubisoft

Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope's The Last Spark Hunter DLC is now available.

With no prior build-up or marketing, Ubisoft has shadow-dropped the second paid DLC pack for Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope during today’s Nintendo Direct. Titled “The Last Spark Hunter,” this expansion will take players to the “Melodic Gardens” where they will investigate the origins of the threat looming over this new planet. They’ll also face off against the titular Spark Hunter, named Kanya.

During their journey to the Melodic Gardens, players will explore a musical jungle and some mysterious ruins as well as get the chance to sail across a vast ocean and sparkling lakes. As with the previous DLC pack, The Last Spark Hunter will include new enemies and different tactical challenges for players to overcome. While the first DLC pack, The Tower of Doom, wasn’t particularly long, this one promises to have more content for players to sink their teeth into.

Available right now from the eShop, Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope – The Last Spark Hunter can be acquired through the game’s season pass for $29.99. The final DLC will introduce Rayman to the game, making for one of the most unexpected and exciting crossovers in gaming.
