Pocket Titans Review – A Simple, Fun iOS Mobile Phone RPG

Well, there have been few apps coming along as of late that offer good strategy RPG that doesn’t require a lot of menus to go through, or pulling your hair out over a long drawn out story that doesn’t make sense.

Thankfully, Kumotion solves that problem with Pocket Titans

There is a story and it’s short and sweet: the Titan trainees have died, and a knight and mage are the start of getting revenge (with help of course from others).

There are four worlds, mostly short levels (but do get challenging later on), and a few bosses which are not a lot of work–but do get challenging. The battle grid is sliding based, so if you want to get close to your enemy, slide them to you. This is a nice change, since if you’re not in their line, well, you can’t attack (unless you can use a certain type of spell). Spells and attacks are random, and mostly change depending where you stand.

There is multiplayer, though I didn’t try it as I’m in a small town and I’d rather play alone. However, is a great addition for people finished and wanting more to do.

For $.99 on the iTunes App Store, this is a very nice detailed RPG that is really fun and nicely done, with bright colorful graphics and effects and a wide range of characters to use.
