Saturday Morning RPG By Mighty Rabbit

Nostalgic RPG work at its finest

I love this game–I repeat–love this game. Anyone who likes RPGs and watched GI Joe, Care Bears and other cartoos will love this game. It is full of quotes and little things you will remember (Operation, and a quote from Back to the Future) but shockingly, that’s not its strongest point.

You play Marty, a student with a rocking notebook that has all sorts of abilities. Your nemesis, Commander Hood, (who has a certain familiar look) has stolen your girl and you have to get her back… that’s all I can say, as this four-episode game will go deeper into story (not Final Fantasy deep, but that’s not a bad thing with this game).

The gameplay reminds me a little of Paper Mario, mixed with some JRPG elements, with sticker collecting for abilities, and item collection for special item use in battle. There are no random battles, so by the end of the game, your character won’t be much different.

The music is 80’s glory, which makes it feel like you’re watching the cartoon and makes you want more. Length wise, it’s short (45 minutes to a hour), but this is something you would want to replay–plus an arena mode makes it even better.

A classic game any RPG fan or 80’s cartoon watcher must own, from an amazing developer. Can’t wait to see more in the future.
