Reedus Adds Fire to the Kojima – Konami Controversy

Reedus posted a photo that dissed Konami.

Fresh off the reveal of the upcoming Death Stranding game from Hideo Kojima, Walking Dead star Norman Reedus posted a photo on Instagram that added fire to the Kojima-Konami Controversy

The photo shows Hideo Kojima (Metal Gear Series) sipping from a cup that is photoshopped to say Konami’s tears — so it is safe to say who’s side he is on. Reedus is referencing how Konami must be upset about the epic reveal of Death Stranding, the first game Kojima is publishing under the independent banner of Kojima Productions in partnership with Sony.

Kojima and Reedus became friends and worked together in the past when Kojima was creating the latest Silent Hills game, before it was prematurely cancelled by Konami without any sign of ever returning.

Death Stranding is currently in development for the PlayStation 4. The reveal trailer from Sony’s E3 press conference can be viewed below.
