Left Alive set for March 5, 2019 Release

Square Enix's mech-fueled shooter is coming to PS4 and PC.

Mech fan’s rejoice. Square Enix has just announced that Left Alive will be available on PlayStation 4 and PC on March 5, 2019.

Set in the world of the Front Mission series, gameplay footage suggests that Left Alive will be high on action - a third-person shooter that pits players against armed soldiers and gigantic mechs alike.

Toshifumi Nabeshima (producer on six of FromSoftware’s Armored Core entries) is directing, and Yoji Shinkawa (known for his character and mech design for Metal Gear Solid) has the character design credit.

Dating back to 1995, there have been 11 Front Mission releases, and only four have been localized for audiences overseas. Left Alive will be many’s first exposure to the franchise, and, with these vets at the helm of development, it looks promising.

Square Enix has also shared a new trailer elaborating on the world of Left Alive.
