Deep Silver hosted a media event at PAX East this afternoon, giving us a look into the upcoming title, Saint’s Row IV. After showing a brief look into the gameplay, Deep Silver claims that the next installment in the series will be even more wild than any of the other titles.

Most importantly, Deep Silver boasted their vertical game play, which gives the map a much larger scale than the map in the third game. Between real and virtual realities, the player will have an insanely large space to explore and pursue hilarity. Rooftops have become fair game to fight new enemies and use the newly-implemented super powers that you can unlock throughout the game.

While they will be introducing new weapons (like a Dubstep gun, no lie) and features, they will keep many aspects that players saw in the third game and the expansion pack, including drop in co-op play, weapon upgrades and ridiculous achievements.

Be sure to keep your eye on this upcoming title, and the much broader storyline as more trailers and teasers surface.

Deep Silver promises that “the only normal aspect of the game is that you’re the President of the United States.”
