My Game Of The Year: None!

2014 was, in my personal opinion, a bad year for gaming.
This article is over 9 years old and may contain outdated information

2014 was in my own opinion, quite a poor year for the hardcore gamer. All of the games that have come out have been unfinished, buggy, or not operating properly. We can take a look back at Halo: The Master Chief Collection’s multiplayer not working for the Xbox One. It didn’t work for a long time, and still isn’t quite working properly.

Another case is Assassin’s Creed Unity, which also caused a storm in the gaming community. It has issues with crashing and not looking or feeling finished.

While not a 2014 game, I am very much disappointed with Saints Row IV‘s DLC, “Gat Out of Hell”. Its very boring, repetitive gameplay just felt too similar to Saints Row IV in terms of gameplay. They could have done a much better job with it.

2014 was NOT a good year for video games in general, and I am sure some do agree with me out there. Thanks again for reading and checking out my article.
