Top 6 Newcomers for Super Smash Bros.

Check out my Top 6 list of new characters coming to Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U and 3DS!
This article is over 10 years old and may contain outdated information

Super Smash Bros. has plenty of characters to choose from. The new games coming out this year, for the 3DS and Wii U, have some new, iconic characters joining the fight. I originally thought of doing a "Top 5", but after the new characters revealed at E3, I had to add another spot to the list.

#6 - Palutena - Kid Icarus

This video speaks for itself. Palutena looks insane and a lot of fun in Super Smash Bros. She has a wide range of skills that fit any situation. Plus, you can never have too many female characters.

#5 Little Mac - Punch-Out

An old and popular character. It's nice to see him put in the game. His fighting style looks fun and unique. He may not have a lot of aerial moves, which could be a weakness, but his ground fighting makes up for it.

The power meter he gets to charge up for K.O. punches could be a real problem. We'll have to wait and see.

#4 - Greninja - Pokemon X and Y

This is one of my favorite new Pokemon and arguably the best starter in Pokemon X and Y. I'm very glad to see him in the game and if wasn't for who's in the Top 3, Greninja would probably be my number 1.

He's very fast and has plenty of stealth-like moves to get him out of trouble. He can combo, counter, and attack in an instant. I look forward to playing Greninja, and he'll definitely be one of my main characters in the upcoming games.

#3 - Pac-Man - Pac-Man Series

One of the most classic game characters of all time finally makes its debut to Super Smash Bros. I love the old 8-bit graphics of his attacks and stage. Also, turning into classic Pac-Man and chomping towards the enemy was a great addition.

I'd like to see if he gets any bonuses for eating the dots and/or power pellets on his stage.

#2 - Mega Man - Mega Man Series

The Blue Bomber has finally arrived. This may be the character that fans have wanted the most since the original Super Smash Bros. game. Just the fact that he's finally in the game lands him a top spot, but that's not the only reason.

Just like in the series, Mega Man has access to a variety of moves he's taken from bosses. This diversity makes him a formidable opponent.

#1 - Mii Fighter - Wii and beyond

That's right, you can sue your Mii in Super Smash Bros. This is what I am most excited about in the new games. I love Super Smash Bros. and the ability to put myself in the game is great.

That's not all, you can choose between 3 different fighting styles: Gunner, Brawler, and Swordfighter. You canhave a wide selction of special moves to choose from.

Add this to the ability to make any Mii you want, and you have plenty of characters to add to the game.

What do you think of the new characters in the upcoming Super Smash Bros. games? Let me know what you think of this list, as well as some of your own favorite fighters in game, by leaving a comment below!
