CoD Modern Warfare and Warzone players get a double XP weekend and some playlist tweaks.

After an initial round of new content, characters, and updates, Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3 is still going strong. Activision announced a number of additional tweaks and new modes coming to both Warzone and CoD: Modern Warfare this weekend.

The news comes from the official Call of Duty Twitter account.

The Trios Battle Royale mode is making a return to Warzone this weekend, and the popular Plunder mode is coming back in Duos form so two players can join in together.

On the Modern Warfare side, we've got a new playlist dubbed Dropzones, and the Stir Crazy 24/4 playlist is now 10v10.

Finally, it's a double XP weekend. Both Modern Warfare and Warzone players can earn double XP starting now and running through Monday.
