Hungry Hippos for IPad

Holy hippos! Hungry Hippos for IPad? Yes please.

I’m 22 years old and I would download this in a heartbeat. From the Apple app store comes Hungry Hippos, the classic that everyone who is anyone played as a kid.

Control the hippos in the same way you would for the real board game–tap the hippo to stretch his neck, eating any apples or bananas (no more marbles!) in range. Play by yourself as you try to beat the clock, play against a bot or play a bird’s eye view with four of your friends!

Plus, it is completely free to play. You don’t have to buy more maps or more turns like most app games these days, so you can feed hippos until your fingers fall off.

This is a wonderful game for kids and will keep them occupied, while helping them develop some important coordination. Especially if they’re going to be a professional app gamer – which we know is a dream for some parents.
