The Iron Banner playlist returns to Destiny this Tuesday

According to the recent Bungie Weekly Update, the Iron Banner playlist is returning this upcoming Tuesday, June 2, 2015. Lord Saladin will return to the tower equipped with some new treats for you Guardians. These treats will include both weapons and armor. Keep an eye out for items such as boots, gauntlets, fusion rifles and scout rifles. As an added bonus, Etheric Light will now be available for purchase for rank 3s and rank 5s. It’s no longer just a reward—thank goodness! Here’s a quick rundown on what else will be new:

  • Lower-ranked guardians on your account will gain a reputation boost to catch up to your higher-ranked guardian
  • Rewards will cost less Glimmer
  • The Gunsmith now has Lord Saladin’s weapon reforging service
  • The Cauldron, Pantheon and Exodus Blue have all been added to the playlist
  • The power curve has been adjusted to match the House of Wolves competitive range of power

As for how long this event will last, that has yet to be revealed. But with all of these new additions to the limited time playlist, June 2nd is definitely a date to anticipate. Do your best Guardians and prepare to raise your Iron Banner rank!
