Lionhead Studios is currently not working on Fable 4

Unfortunate news for Fable fans: Lionhead Studios made it clear that they are currently not focusing on Fable 4, nor will they be addressing the title in the near future. This leaves Fable fans holding their breath even longer for the long-awaited Fable 4.

Lionhead Studios is instead working on another Fable title. The multiplayer focused game Fable Legends. Lionhead Studios confirmed this in a recent response tweet to a curious fan.

Fable Legends is a multiplayer focused game that makes use of the classic Fable gameplay style. The game will allow players to form a group of Heroes to discover the many quests and stories hidden within Albion, or allow players to become evil masterminds!

Fable Legends received a release date of October 13th back in July. However, Lionhead Studios continues to deny that the release date is accurate. According to Lionhead, they have yet to even decide on a release date inside the studio itself.
