Halo 2: Anniversary Documentary Announced

343 Industries has just anounced a new addition for the release of Halo: The Master Chief Collection: a documentary going over the re-creation of Halo 2. The film will go from the begining of 343 Industries' process of taking the idea of re-making Halo 2, to setting it for release. The trailer also hints at interviews with high profile people such as Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb and other fans talking about the release of the original Halo 2 for the Xbox.

There is no set length for the film, but I for one am very excited about this. Halo 2 brought online console game play to a whole new level. Before Halo 2, it was a novel concept that not very many games used effectively. However, Bungie turned Xbox Live into the power house it is today through Halo 2's excellent matchmaking system and integrated voice chat. This documentary will definetly be a great trip down memory lane and will become a definitive addition to this huge pack of Halo games.
