Atlanta's own Indie Cluster invites you to a special donor event on Tuesday, April 24. They've given to the community -- and now it's time to give to the next generation of game makers.

Since 2015, Atlanta’s Indie Cluster has been deeply involved in the local community. The Cluster has acted as the launching pad for many indie developers in the Atlanta area, as well as a way by which the power of gaming has come to classrooms and minority groups around the city.

To continue amplifying their efforts, the Indie Cluster invites potential partners and patrons to the first Indie Cluster Donor Party on April 24. The formal event will last from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the SharedSpace Cobb in Smyrna. To attend, you will need to RSVP here

The funds raised at the party will go toward furthering the Indie Cluster’s community outreach efforts. Per a press release for the event:

Building a relationship with students and the Atlanta community is our focus for 2018. We want to be able to grow our classroom talks to full summer courses, teaching kids and minority groups about game development. These, and a few other goals, are what we’ll be discussing Tuesday night!

The Cluster asks that all attendees “dress for the red carpet.” Food and drinks will be provided. If you cannot attend but would still like to donate to the Indie Cluster, you can also donate to the group’s efforts via the RSVP link above.

The Atlanta Indie Cluster focuses on providing a platform not only for Atlanta game developers but also for those all across the state. The group highlights unique ideas that “challenge the paradigm of the common.”
