A Brand New Street Fighter V Challenger Enter’s the Ring

Street Fighter's newest character, Necalli, is shown off in this hot EVO trailer.

At this weekend’s Evolution 2015 tournament, Capcom dropped a bomb by  announcing not only a new character for Street Fighter V, but an original character for the entire Street Fighter universe

Necalli is a very unique looking character. He is kind of reminiscent over Asura from Capcom’s over the top action game Asura’s Wrath. He has crazy yellow eyes and even crazier dreadlocks, that shine a blood-red when he enter’s V-Trigger state.

From what we saw in Necalli’s trailer, he has a good mix of classic street fighter techniques along with some crazy new ones. In the trailer, Necalli used multiple command grabs, including a skill where he throws Ken into a wall and then continues to attack. Necalli also uses some sort of counter, an Akuma-esque dive kick, and a move that looks a lot like Wolverine’s berserker barrage from the Marvel Vs. Capcom series.

Overall Necalli looks like a great new addition to the Street Fighter stable of characters.
