The original games were developed by Iguana Entertainment and published by Acclaim Entertainment. The games received great reviews from fans and people are already thrilled about the press release. One fan on Twitter got a little over excited already:

Night Dive Studios has already restored a multitude of games for PC such as System Shock 2, Sid Meier’s Colonization, and Darklands

Stephen Kick, the CEO and founder of Night Dive Studios spoke about the remaster:

“When Turok: Dinosaur Hunter was first released it was nothing short of revolutionary. To that point, no game had ever offered the combination of graphics and an open world environment that Turok featured. We are very excited to have the opportunity to bring this great franchise back to life and to be able to share these great titles with today’s gaming audience.”

Currently, there are no release dates, but the games will be available through a variety of sources: Steam, the Humble Bundle store, GOG, GamersGate, Green Man Gaming, and through Night Dive Studios’ website. The games are only being released in digital form.
