The Paladins Goodness Gets Even Sweeter With the Hero Shooter’s Official Release

Listen, Overwatch players: You really oughta give Paladins a try, and Hi-Rez Studios is giving you PLENTY of reasons to set aside your Tracers and Genjis. Read on for all the details.

Think back to a time before Fortnite, to a time before the battle royale craze had really hit. We all thought that hero shooters were the new hotness, and the continued success of Overwatch has proven that we weren’t wrong.

But let’s be frank: Overwatch, despite its continued success, just ain’t for everybody, and a very significant subsection of gamers took to — and has stuck with — Hi-Rez Studio’s Paladins, a game that offers a significantly different take on the hero shooter genre.

On May 8, PC, Xbox One, and PS4 players will finally be able to tell their Overwatch-playing pals that Paladins: Champions of the Realm — still one of the hottest games on the daily Steam charts — is officially out. And Hi-Rez wants to make sure everybody knows about it.

If you’re already among those of us who play Paladins, you’re going to receive 200 Crystals for free if you log in between May 8 and May 31, and all Champions will be unlocked until May 7 — yes, ALL champions are available right now.

And mobile players, don’t think Hi-Rez has forgotten you: Paladins Strike is available right now for iOS and Android devices. Playing will unlock two free skins in Paladins: Champions of the Realm.
