New English gameplay footage shown at Anime Expo reveals both new and familiar faces, as well as more of the Domination Battle mode.

The footage shows the game’s protagonist, Keisuke, investigating a cyberspace server to search for the cause of a power plant malfunction, battling his Digimon team against other wild Digimon, and fighting against the source of the malfunction.

The first to gain a set number of points — 30 shown in the video above — is the winner.

In addition to this, each hacker moves in order of the timeline seen on the right. Hackers are able to move 2 spaces on their own turn, but can only move 1 space when moving to a higher position. Once hackers come in contact with each other, they battle with their Digimon.

Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Hacker’s Memory is the sequel to Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth and will release on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in late 2017 in Japan and sometime in 2018 for the U.S. and other Western territories.
