Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X, a single player rhythm game is out today on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

The latest Hatsune Miku game, Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X is out today on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. Featuring multiple game modes and various Vocaloids, the single player rhythm game is the latest to be released in the series.

With new melody songs, the player must match the buttons being displayed on the screen in order to achieve a high score. With a new mechanic called rush notes, where you tap the buttons rapidly, you can greatly improve your score in a small amount of time. Between Live Quest Mode quests, visual novel style scenes are shown between the player’s character and the Vocaloids. Free Play Mode allows the player to customize the stage and various modules of the game. Area quests are completed by performing certain songs, wearing certain styles in specific areas. Event quests are triggered during Live Quest Mode when special circumstances are met.
