The end of the trailer confirms that this game is “the game based on the movie that’s based on the game” and gives us the release dates for the game as well as the highly anticipated full-length movie. The movie was hinted and teased last year roughly around the time of E3; Sony did confirm that the movie was in production, to be released in theaters but no release date was mentioned. Today we have confirmation for the dates of both the movie and the game which are as followed:

Ratchet & Clank (The game): Spring 2016

Ratchet & Clank The Movie: April 29th, 2016

Mark your calendars for the triumphant return of our favorite Lombax and his robot friend and their crazy guns that have become the iconic touchstones of the Rachet and Clank series.
