Minecraft’s Jurassic World DLC is Packed With Dino-Might

The new Minecraft Jurassic World DLC puts the power of creation in your hands for better and for worse.

Mojang hath wrought unnatural destruction in the latest Minecraft DLC crossover. This time around, Minecraft and Jurassic World meet, putting players in control of their own experimental dino park with over 60 dinosaurs and plenty of park management tasks to help keep things running smoothly — hopefully.

As the trailer accompanying the Minecraft Jurassic World DLC shows, the new crossover essentially lets players re-create their favorite aspects of the Jurassic Park movies.

The Jurassic World DLC offers multiple locations from the film series, including buildings to re-create the park and research facilities.

There are over 60 dinosaurs in the package, including hybrids players can create using materials earned through completing quests.

Whether the goal is taking on these quests or just keeping order in the park is entirely up to the player, though even the best-laid plans can easily go awry when re-animated dinosaurs are involved.

On top of that, the DLC adds 21 new Minecraft skins to make it a more authentic Jurassic World experience. The Minecraft Jurassic World DLC is available from the Minecraft Marketplace for $7.99.
