Nintendo announced today that Canadian residents will get early access to Super Mario Odyssey beginning on June 10th.
According to Nintendo of Canada, there will be kiosks in Mississauga, Ontario allowing fans access to the game months before its release. In order to gain early access, individuals will have to sign up for a time slot beginning June 10 at noon (EST). With a limited number of slots, registration will be on a first come, first serve basis.
The company recommends that participants arrive ten minutes early for their slot with their access pass (provided at registration) and a valid photo ID at check-in.

Tuesday, June 13, 2017
- Erin Mills Town Centre at 3 PM to 9 PM EST
- Metropolis at Metrotown at Noon to 9 PM EST
Wednesday, June 14, 2017
- Erin Mills Town Centre at 10 AM to 9 PM EST
- Metropolis at Metrotown at 10 AM to 9 PM EST
Thursday, June 15, 2017
- Erin Mills Town Centre at 10 AM to 9 PM EST
- Metropolis at Metrotown at 10 AM to 9 PM EST
According to Nintendo of Canada, there will also be a pre-order program happening in conjunction with the event, where players can pick up a special item if they’ve pre-ordered two games for the Nintendo Switch:
…Show us your receipt with two select Nintendo Switch game preorders from any retailer and get a high quality Mario Universe Challenge Coin (available while supplies last)! The pre-ordered games have to be two of the following titles: Super Mario Odyssey, ARMS and Splatoon 2 for the Nintendo Switch console.
Fans can also enter for a chance to win $100 Nintendo Kiosk credits at the event.
Around the same time that this event is happening in Canada, fans who visit Nintendo at E3 will also have access to the game. Super Mario Odyssey will be released only on Nintendo Switch during the 2017 holiday season.
