Destiny: How to get the Laurea Prima emblem (even if you just bought Destiny)
Yesterday, was the official Bungie Day. Every year, on the seventh day of the seventh month, Bungie celebrates their loyal and loving community. This year, it was all things Destiny.
It's finally the calm after the storm, and Bungie has been relieved of the controversy they have been drowning in the past few weeks. Bungie announced a rare emblem called the Laurea Prima reserved for year one Guardians.

So what happens if you just got Destiny? You can still make this emblem yours! You just have to pursue and achieve the Moments of Triumph.
Here's what you need to do for each achievement:
- Apprentice of Light - One character reached the maximum level
- Light of the Garden - Defeated the dark heart of the Black Garden
- Light in the Dark - Prevented the summoning of Crota's Soul
- Light of the Reef - Captured Skolas in the Vex Citadel
- Bane of Skolas - Defeated Prison of Elders on Hard Difficulty
- Bane of Atheon - Defeated Atheon on Hard Difficulty
- Bane of Crota - Defeated Crota on Hard Difficulty
- Public Servant - Completed 50 Public Events
- Crucible Gladiator - Won 100 Crucible Matches
- Chest Hunter - Found all Golden chests
So, what do you say, Guardian, can you prevail in the Moments of Triumph? Bungie believes in you, and so do I. The countdown is set for 2 Months, 2 Days and 7 hours as of now. You have until September 9, 2015 to complete these tasks and the rare emblem will be yours once the Taken King is released.
Happy hunting, Guardians!

Josh W_4427July 13, 2015, 5:18 pmWhich Max Level do they mean for the first one? 20? The original highest Light Level? The now highest light level?
-
Level 20!

Div PatelJuly 10, 2015, 10:53 amI still gotta finish three more :/

You can do it! 2 months is plenty of time to get there. That emblem basically has your name on it already!

Charlie OwensJuly 9, 2015, 10:16 amSo let's say someone has never PVPed in Destiny. Ever. Like, hasn't touched crucible or trials or anything since the game dropped.
Is 100 crucible wins in roughly 2 months a feasible goal? -
Yes completely! It helps playing with friends sometimes too. The matches are fairly short and you can work through a lot of matches in one day, judging by how much you enjoy it. But I'll be honest, PvP in Destiny has became a huge scene for people that solely use OP hand cannons like thorn or hawkmoon. But if you work way around them, you'll get those 100 wins!

All that work for an emblem. Seems fair.

It seems more like an honor, than a prize, I believe. But Bungie is also offering the year-one shader, sparrow and emblem as a reward as well, you won't have to go through all of that to get them. Just level 30, or play both previous DLCs:

I love that it's either "buy out DLCs!" or "grind your way to the top".
...*sigh* -
aw I know, but I can't blame Bungie, they're doing their best to please everyone

Charlie OwensJuly 10, 2015, 1:43 amI don't know if it's that big a grind if you've been in since launch; I've never PVPed, and I'm pretty close to this emblem. (100 crucible wins + every raid on hard = I can has emblem!)

Div PatelJuly 10, 2015, 10:54 amdo you play on PS4? If so I can help you with PvP!
-
You can definitely do it! Use Destinylfg to look for groups, or even the fireteam facebook page. Or even Div here, he would be a great help!
