Players will travel through the world with a team made up of Paper Mario, Mario, and Luigi. It’s not only Paper Mario who has jumped into the 3D world of Mario & Luigi. Paper Bowser, Princess Peach, and many other characters have also found their way into the 3D world, throwing a lot of confusion and struggle for power into the mix.

Nintendo wasn’t ready to provide a lot of details on the story of Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam but they did let loose a huge amount of gameplay.

They’ve found unique ways to bring together the best elements of both series to create a gameplay experience unlike any other Mario title.

Working together Paper Mario and the Mario bros. will use their own unique skills to overcome platforming challenges. Such as slipping through rocks sideways as Paper Mario and chasing collectibles in the 3D world.

Combat also shines in Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam bringing back the classic hammer moves and turn-based combat of Paper Mario, with real-time battles of Mario & Luigi thrown in. The team of Mario’s & Luigi will also combine their skills to conquer bigger and badder enemies. The game has a lot to offer 3DS owners when it launches later this year.
