Deadly Premonition, Hitman HD Trilogy Free for PlayStation Plus Members

Deadly Premonition, Hitman HD Trilogy, and more are added to the December lineup for PlayStation Plus subscribers.

Four more games are added to the known freebies in December for PlayStation owners. What joins Injustice and Secret Ponchos on PS4? A couple of retail PS3 games and a new game on Vita.

Here's the full list of PlayStation titles that will be free for PlayStation Plus subscribers in December.

  • Injustice: Gods Among Us -- Ultimate Edition (PS4)
  • Secret Ponchos (PS4)
  • Hitman HD Trilogy (PS3)
  • Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut (PS3)
  • Final Horizon (Vita)
  • Titan Attacks! (PS4/PS3/Vita)

That actually makes it eight free titles if we're breaking down the Hitman HD Trilogy, which includes HD upgrades of Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Contracts, and Hitman: Blood Money. The new game in the bunch is Final Horizon, a tower defense game that presents a new take on the genre -- it promises to be quicker.

An interesting addition is Deadly Premonition, a budget survival horror title that turned into a cult hit. Former Destructoid reviewer Jim Sterling famously gave the original a perfect 10 out of 10, but wasn't so keen on the Director's Cut due to the HD upgrade giving it a bad frame rate.
