Aion Europe is never going to be caught up to North America, much less Korea. The European servers finally saw patch 3.5 hit today, which comes with a slew of new content for PvE and PvP players to enjoy.
Aion 3.5 packs in both the Tiamat’s Fortress and Tiamat’s Hideout instances for level 60’s to barge in and loot. Two new arenas are added in this patch as well: Arena of Cooperation (2v2) and Arena of Glory (4 player free for all). Players also get a crack at four new mounts and some new options for their homes, among other things.
The North American servers are currently on patch 3.7, which adds some much-needed inventory space, composite manastones, and a new instance. The Korean servers are undergoing their transition to Aion 4.0, which is a whole other animal in terms of content size and changes.
The European server might be behind, but it is not as behind as it used to be. It could be a lot worse, Aion players over the pond — but it’s still pretty bad.
