We’ve seen visual updates now for Nidalee, Janna, Gangplank, and others. Now it’s time for one of League of Legends’s most iconic champions to receive the same treatment.
Annie, the Dark Child
As the you can see, Annie’s getting a major visual upgrade to her in-game skins, including improved fire effects and updates across the board to her bear, Tibbers. Most notably her Noxian skin looks amazing now, where before it was a fairly bland recolor.
Perhaps even better, Riot has stated they are also redoing her audio effects, getting the original voice actress to redo her vocal work. While that new vocal update hasn’t hit the Public Beta Environment yet, the results should be worth the wait given past updates.

To celebrate League of Legends’s one-year anniversary in China, they revealed a pair of warring states’ period skins, a Lu Bu mockup for Jarvan IV and a Zhao Yun outfit for Xin Zhao. Those two skins are finally seeing the light of day, at the same time as a new skin for Corki that has his gyrocopter becoming a fireworks-fueled Chinese dragon and a new skin for Cassiopeia dressing her up for the Lunar Revel.
