Barely a week after the Pokemon Direct, Nintendo has now announced that there will be a Nintendo Direct airing on March 3rd, 2016 at 2 PM PST (5 PM EST). This North American Nintendo Direct (according to the official Twitter page) will focus on the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS titles that are planned for summer launches.

While it is currently unknown which games Nintendo might have to announce during this Nintendo Direct, there are a number of games that are expected to make an appearance. Since it involves all games from now until the summer season, we will undoubtedly see the following:

  • The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD
  • Star Fox Zero
  • Pokken Tournament
  • Hyrule Warriors: Legends

While it is unlikely, we could also possibly see an appearance of: Genei Ibun Roku #FE, Metroid Prime: Federation Force, and The Legend of Zelda Wii U. Other third party or smaller Nintendo franchises are expected to make an appearance as well. Some rumors also point to the announcement of a new Paper Mario game for the Wii U, as well as possible news for more Legend of Zelda anniversary deals.

What are you expecting from the Nintendo Direct? Are there any games or merchandise you’re hoping to see that haven’t been announced already? Leave your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below!
