3.5 million of the 7 million tally accumulated in the game’s first week of release alone. The massive rate of sale makes Assassin’s Creed 3 Ubisoft’s fastest-selling title.

According to the press release, counting only solo missions, players have logged over 82 centuries of game time — 8,200 years! A little over 8 millennia of American Revolution action!

Cumulatively, players have dropped 3 billion bodies cold. That assassination count goes up to 250 million in multiplayer in more that 5 billion multiplayer sessions.

From Geoffry Sardin of Ubisoft:

“The reception for Assassin’s Creed 3 has been exceptional, and this success has positioned the game among the best sellers of the 2012 holiday season. We knew we had something special on our hands when Assassin’s Creed 3 was launched, and we’re really excited and proud to see how much fans are enjoying the latest installment in the franchise.”

The stats are sure to rise with the Hidden Secrets DLC, which was released on Tuesday, and again upon next year’s release of The Tyranny of George Washington DLC.
