The third release of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, Revelations sold a smashing 3.5 million copies in its first week of release. Reviews were generally favorable, save for the myriad of reported glitches and bugs. Ubisoft responded quickly, piecing together a day-one patch that ultimately left issues unresolved, and more came to light. Message boards flooded with accounts from the amusing to the obnoxious: floating horses, broken quests, and unreasonably difficult chase sequences. The Thanksgiving fix is expected to resolve these issues, among others.

The publisher assures PC gamers that AC3 will be a far smoother product for them to experience than it was for their console-bound counterparts. A combination of current fixes and extra DirectX11 are to credit.
