Yesterday Ubisoft posted a brand new video of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag with a commentary from the Director of the game, Ashraf Ismail. This new trailer gives us some exclusive insight on how massive the world is and what kind of side missions we can expect to see.

Ashraf explains early in the video that the Jackdaw, your ship, will be very important and that you need to take care of it. He also hints that the Jackdaw will be customizable, I can’t wait to see what kind of things we can customize on the ship. We get to see an amazing looking storm in the trailer, and the Director explains that these storms are going to be very dangerous.

The game world is looking amazing in this video, there will be tons of creatures roaming around like crabs on the beach or iguanas roaming a deserted temple. The viewpoints that we all love to climb will still be in this game, with the added ability to use them as fast-travel points. We don’t want to forget about the classic pirate past time, raiding ships. As you can see in the trailer there will be ships all over the game world and almost every one will be boardable. So for all those true pirate fans you will definitely be able to live out your fantasies of plundering the high seas.

At the end of the video the director teases us with more videos coming soon. Every time I see a new preview of this game I want it more and more, I can’t wait to play the PC release. Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is set to release on October 29th for the PS3, Wii U, and the Xbox 360, with a Q4 release date for the Xbox One, PS4, and the PC.
