This article is over 3 years old and may contain outdated information

It was no secret that BlizzCon, Blizzard’s own convention to show off upcoming titles and expansions for its popular titles such as World of Warcraft and Overwatch, was getting cancelled this year and pushed to early 2021. Now we have the exact dates it will be running, and its new fancy name: BlizzConline.

BlizzConline will be taking place from February 19 to February 20, 2021, but Blizzard are still tight-lipped about what games they’ll be showing over the course of the streamed convention.

What they aren’t quiet about so far is the host of Community Showcase events happening over the course of the two days, which will include:

  • A cosplay exhibition
  • A cosplay contest
  • An art contest
  • A digital storytelling contest
  • A talent spotlight

The entry deadline for each of these Community Showcase events is January 4, 2021, so be sure to read up more on what they will entail through the official announcement.

BlizzConline will also feature the March of the Murlocs despite being a remote event, which also has a January 4, 2021, deadline for those interested in entering a photo or video marching and dancing while dressed up as a Murloc in World of Warcraft.

There are no further details known about BlizzConline just yet, but it sounds like it may be just as focused on the fans as ever. Keep your eyes here on GameSkinny for further news as we edge closer to 2021.
