The latest installment of the Call of Duty: Black Ops series is a little under three weeks away from launch and Treyarch is happily dropping all kinds of info on the upcoming game. Earlier this month, they dropped a gameplay trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4‘s Blackout Battle Royale mode. Even more recently, they revealed some of their plans for post-launch DLC. Today they released a shiny new launch trailer highlighting all three of the upcoming game’s feature modes: Blackout Battle Royale, Multiplayer, and Zombies. The trailer is an intense action-fest… and man is it pretty.

If you’re wondering about the post-launch content I mentioned above, I have good news for you, and — depending on which console you play — some not as good news. The good news, Treyarch has plenty of free content and events planned to roll out after the game releases. Included in the current release plans are the return of the Nuketown map in November, the rollout of the first new Specialists in December, and regular updates to the Blackout mode.

The less good news — if you’re not a PlayStation 4 owner — is that they plan to release the new content to PS4 first. This includes new specialists, maps, and seasonal events.

Hopefully, Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 players on Xbox and PC won’t be forced into too long of a wait when it comes to these updates. But, of course, we’ll have to wait and see.
