Right now Call of Duty: Ghosts (CoD) is getting a double XP weekend to mark the game’s launch. This bonus will exist across all the CoD platforms and will last until Monday night.

The start of the game has been extremely successful so far, and Activision certainly has reason to celebrate – the game made one billion dollars in its first 24 hours. Reports have shown people are happy with the “create a soldier” system, good customization, and interesting game modes.

The game is not perfect despite its tremendous success, though. It’s slightly laggy for some people. Players have been complaining about graphics that need polishing, the respawning system that can be confusing or dangerous when the computer puts you in a bad spot, and that there might still be some balancing issues.

In short, this CoD is for fans of the franchise. If you’ve liked all the games since the very first Call of Duty you will enjoy this one too and you should take advantage of the double XP. Get some kills in and enjoy the battle!
