Dragon’s Dogma was one of the more unique RPG experiences this year, and it’s understandable that PC gamers would want a piece of the action. Unfortunately, Capcom has completely and officially driven it home that we will not be seeing the game on PCs anytime soon.

A tweet on the Capcom UK Twitter had stated “It’s coming” in response to a tweet asking if a PC version was coming, Eurogamer reports. Unfortunately this was a mistake.

A tweet came from Capcom UK not too long afterward, saying “Sorry for the false alarm folks, no Dragon’s Dogma on the PC anytime soon :(“.

A Capcom representative spoke to Eurogamer saying that there are no plans for a Dragon’s Dogma PC release.

This is a disappointment, but isn’t surprising considering Capcom’s stance on keeping Dragon’s Dogma on consoles. The game only came out on consoles this year. We may still have hope to see it in a year or two considering Capcom’s track record of bringing console games to PC.
