CD Projekt Red Teases Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire Event

CDPR is hosting Night City Wire soon, but what Cyberpunk 2077 news will it reveal?
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Summer Game Fest kicks off this week, bringing with it four months of conferences, reveals, and panels. While we don’t yet know specific dates for all publishers involved, CD PROJEKT RED just announced it will hold a Cyberpunk 2077 presentation called Night City Wire on June 11.

CDPR posted the announcement on the Cybperpunk 2077 Twitter page.

And that’s pretty much all we know about it so far, though CDPR’s Marcin Momot said that “stuff will be shown!”:

That might not seem like much, but we do live in an age where developers announce dates for more announcements, so at least we’ll see something with  Night City Wire. Anything Cyberpunk 2077 is more than welcome, though.

Though it’s possible we’ll get a peek at the game’s multiplayer component that’s still in the works, it’s more likely that we’ll get a new look at Night City (it’s in the name, after all). To this point, we’ve only seen two of the city’s six districts, so the Night City Wire event might be a more in-depth look at those or an entirely new look at other parts of the metropolis.

June 11 is a little over a month away. If you can’t contain yourself until then, we’ve got some other games like Cyberpunk to tide you over. Or you can check out our Cyberpunk preview from last year’s Keanu-licious E3 2019 event.

Stay tuned to GameSkinny for more Night City Wire news as it revs up.
