It’s sometimes hard to imagine that Pokémon is 20 this year. To mark the occasion, throughout the month of May, there will be Legendary Pokémon made available, new animations, and new trading cards.

Pokémon trainers can now head to their local GameStop and receive a free code card for a Lv. 100 Darkrai. Also, three Legendary Pokémon from the Kalos region will also be available to download via the Nintendo Network for one week at a time:

  • May 2–8: Zygarde
  • May 11–17: Shiny Xerneas
  • May 20–26: Shiny Yveltal

The downloads are available for those playing Pokémon X, Pokémon Y, Pokémon Omega Ruby, and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire.

For those who are more inclined to play the TCG, you can also head along to GameStop (or participating stores) and pick up the Pokémon TCG: Mythical Pokémon Collection—Darkrai. It includes two special Pokémon TCG: Generations booster packs and a collectible Darkrai pin.
