ChronoBlade is a new game from NWay, a studio that consists of former Diablo II designer Stieg Hedlund, Grand Theft Auto creator Dave Jones, and Realtime Worlds former president Tony Harman. It will be on a plethora of platforms including browsers, iOS, Android, and Ouya.
It is an action RPG that melds a classic side-scrolling beat ’em up with the loot collecting of the RPG genre. By having the games plot take place in a multiverse, it allows the art team to really bring in any style they feel like making. This could be anything from a futuristic dystopia to a realm of tree folk.
A demo for the game should arrive on Ouya next week with an open beta on browsers later this month.
