The new DLC, called “Match Day,” is free for Cities: Skylines players and allows them to experience the struggles and challenges of hosting major sporting events in a city of their own.

Cities: Skylines is a modern take on a classic city simulation building game. Players can experience the pleasure and misfortune that can accompany the creation and maintenance of a major city.

While experiencing the highs and lows that come along with city simulation games, players will also experience the recurring themes while building a city.

The “Match Day” DLC helps players become the home of a major sports franchise. Players will deal with increased traffic to and from the arena and the subsequent increase revenue from ticket sales, and players can enact new stadium policies and establish their customized team colors.

The DLC can be redeemed for free on Steam for Cities: Skylines on Windows, Mac, Linux PCs.
