Pugstorm’s Core Keeper has hit its 1st birthday milestone. The mining sandbox adventure game is giving loads of free in-game content to celebrate the event. The Anniversary Update is live today and brings with it new items from the Seasonal Merchant.
The first of the birthday-themed items in game is the Birthday Cake. Hunt one down and have a slice to give your character a permanent boost to their max health. Find the Happy Birthday Music Sheet to play a “Happy Birthday” jingle in-game, while celebrating with friends in Birthday Hats. The Birthday Hats come in 4 different patterns so you can pick your favorite and are available from the Seasonal Merchant.
Another music sheet included in the mini update is the Terraria “Journey’s Beginning” music sheet. Dropping from the King Slime Boss, this is a nod to the fellow indie game. Once acquired you will be able to play “Journey’s Beginning” permanently.
A new hidden achievement was also released today. While it hasn’t been confirmed what the achievement is exactly, it has been included. Stay tuned for updates concerning this.
Coming later this month to Core Keeper is the planned seasonal Cherry Blossom Festival mini update. You can also play previous seasonal events using the in game Gameplay Settings menu. No worries about missing exclusive seasonal content. New players can also access these events to catch up with other players.
