Back in October, publisher Modus Games said they were delaying upcoming indie JRPG Cris Tales from a planned 2020 release. Developed by Colombian studio Dreams Uncorporated, the game was scheduled to launch in early 2021 but has just received another delay, now expected to launch in July 2021.
Coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, Cris Tales follows the story of Crisbell, a young girl with the ability to see the past, present, and future all at once as she sets out to save her magical world.
To make up for this new delay, Modus Games have also released a new overview trailer, showcasing the locations we can expect to visit with Crisbell and her companions.
If you’re keen to try Cris Tales out before this summer, a previously-released demo for the game is still available on Steam, GOG, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch.
Pre orders for the standard edition and collector’s edition of Cris Tales are live, and Modus shared a blog post outlining more about the game, including its story, exploration, combat, and more. Stay tuned for more on Cris Tales in the months leading up to release.
