The first DLC, titled Ashes of Ariandel, was reported to be out early on consoles but is now officially out on all platforms.

For those familiar with the first Dark Souls and its Painted World of Ariamis, the DLC takes place in the similar Painted World of Ariandel.

The DLC features new areas, new bosses, new weapons, new spells. and new armors for players to experience. The DLC also features a fan favorite feature for those who thrive on player on player action, a PvP arena.

Those of you who already have the DLC can access the Painted  World of Ariandel by going to the Cleansing Chapel bonfire in the Cathedral of the Deep and talking to an NPC located near the bonfire.
