Want a chance to be on Defiance's SyFy show? Now's your chance! Players of Trion World's game can enter for a special episode appearance.

Until May 13th, any player of Defiance, the third person shooter MMO, has the chance to become famous. As many already know, Defiance is connected to the SyFy series of the same name. The developer Trion Worlds has launched a contest entitled “Most Wanted”, where eligible players will win an artists render of their real life likeness somewhere on an upcoming episode in the show.

To be eligible, players must complete two Pursuits:
  • Most Wanted: Rogues Gallery
  • Most Wanted: Competitor

The contest includes players of Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows PC and officially ends 2:59 a.m. ET on May 13th.

Defiance’s official site clarifies these requirements:

“The ark hunter earning the most ark salvage per hour (excluding ark salvage earned from the Salvage Matrix) during their time played over the course of the contest will win. Only players who register for the contest and complete both Most Wanted pursuits will be eligible to win. All registrants must complete both the Most Wanted: Competitor and Most Wanted: Rogue’s Gallery in-game pursuits.”

Trion Worlds is supposed to have plans for many crossover type events for players of the game. It’s an exciting idea given that these days developers are trying more and more to step out of the bounds of virtual reality in order to create a more life like gaming experience as has been seen with other games such as Google’s Ingress.

So even if you don’t make the cut this time, keep your eye’s peeled for future contests from Trion. Who knows, you may just become Defiance’s Most Wanted.

I'm a 29 year old Jersey girl who loves games. I currently work full time, volunteer part time at this awesome non-profit called Amman Imman, and go to school part time. I also train in jiu jitsu. So time isn't quite on my side (unlike that song says). I have been trying unsuccessfully for years to clone myself so I can devote one of me to boring stuff like working and laundry - thus allowing more time for gaming. I'm willing to offer large sums of imaginary money to any who can make this happen.
