As many of you know, Blizzcon, the annual Blizzard Entertainment showcase, is coming up this weekend in California. The con exhibits some of the company’s most popular present and future franchises. Among those franchises is Diablo 3. Attendees will be able to get their first look at the new expansion for the game, Reaper of Souls.
It seems that some people just can’t wait to share their excitement over the new content coming to Diablo. The trailer for Reaper of Souls was leaked today on a popular fan site and has since been taken down. But, no worries because the video has circled the web and is now on YouTube. The video shows some of the new features coming to Diablo 3! In Adventure Mode, players must go across the land to collect their bounties. Nephalem Rifts were also introduced as mini-dungeons that players must hold until they can eventually fight a huge boss.
Also noted in the trailer is the addition of clans. The Mystic, who can customize weapon enchantments; and a cosmetic Transmogrification mode, where players can still rank up without having to sacrifice the appearance of their beloved characters.
All of the Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls news will come from Blizzcon later today, so I expect there will be more information for the game coming soon!
