Blizzard has announced the Open Beta dates for the highly anticipated Diablo 4.

Blizzard has announced the Open Beta dates for Diablo 4 during the recent IGN Fan Fest. Alongside an in-game cinematic, two open beta weekends were revealed. While the action RPG sequel is set to release June 6, 2020, on PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4, those who want to check out the game ahead of time can hop into the beta this spring.

Diablo 4 Open Beta Dates

The first round of open beta dates is from March 17 to March 19, 2023, for those that have pre-ordered Diablo 4. If you haven’t pre-ordered yet, and want to now that the open beta dates have been announced, you can still do so on the Diablo 4 website and various retailers.

For those that pre-purchased the game digitally, entry to the Early Access Open Beta will be automatically available. For others, a redemption code will be granted that can be redeemed via diablo.com/beta.

A second beta weekend, from March 24 to March 26, 2023, will be open to everyone.

Diablo 4 Open Beta Details

Those who take part in either Diablo 4 open beta weekend will be able to play through the beginning parts of the campaign, specifically the Prologue and all of Act 1. While your character can only reach Level 25 during this period, the Fractured Peaks will be yours to explore. Enemies, quests, and loot are all available to reap.

More information will be forthcoming concerning the open beta during the next developer livestream on February 28, 2023. It will be the first Developer Update of the year, and you can tune in at 2 p.m. EST/11 a.m. PST on the official Diablo Twitch or Youtube channels to join Art Peshkov, Meng Song, and Joe Shely.

Along with the details of the open beta, the developers will also talk about Diablo 4‘s Stronghold and Armor systems. If you can’t tune in, have no fear, a recap blog with all the highlights will be available.
