Here is the Dota 2 The International group stage Day 3 recap:

Day 3 opened with LGD versus Secret, the two elite teams from Group A. Both teams deliver clean drafts and plays, which resulted in a 1-1 draw. Cloud 9 crushed Na’Vi in a remorseless fashion; Na’Vi continue their losing streak as Cloud 9 humiliates them in 0-2 lost.

Labeled as the future of Chinese Dota, wild card winners CDEC continue their rampage in Group B. Many Dota 2 fans were amazed as CDEC continue to show their intensely aggressive playstyle. They dominated both their games with fellow Chinese teams, Newbee (the TI4 Champions) and VG (another top team from China).

Evil Geniuses (EG) is Day 3’s biggest loser as they draw their match against EHOME and Empire. EG is scheduled to battle with CDEC tomorrow, this is very interesting match: how will a Western team counter the Eastern rising star CDEC?
